The Cornerstone Christian School boys’ basketball team defeated Lyman Ward 36-33 in an Alabama Independent Schools Association Class 1A, Area 1 contest Jan. 13.

Kendall Moore led the Chargers (11-4 overall, 3-1 in AISA Class 1A, Area 1) with 17 points in the victory.

Chase Payne added 10 points. B.J. Smith chipped in nine points in the win.
