The Calera High School boys’ basketball team defeated Andalusia 88-63 in high school basketball action Jan. 14.

Deondre Haynes led the Eagles (17-5) with 25 points in the victory.

Ronnie Clark added 21 points. Jeremy Hyde and Titus Adams contributed 12 points each in the win.

GIRLS

The Calera High School girls’ basketball team fell to Andalusia 65-53 in high school basketball action Jan. 14.

Tyesha Haynes led the Eagles (9-8) with 21 points.

A’Kia Harris added 16 points. Perri Duncan chipped in nine points.
