The Pelham High School wrestling team dropped a match against Pell City 30-26 in high school wrestling action Jan. 14.

Five Panthers won individual matches against Pell City.

Cody Wehunt of Pelham pinned Devon Clark of Pell City in 1:40 in the 160-pound match. Nolan Vinson of Pelham earned a technical fall decision over Landon Stinson of Pell City in the 170-pound match.

John Brito-Cuevas of Pelham earned a 3-1 decision over Dan Floyd of Pell City in the 195-pound match. Chris Shiflett of Pelham pinned Will Harmon of Pell City in 1:00 in the 220-pound match.

Stephen Janoulis of Pelham won his 145-pound match by forfeit.
