Eagles fall to Bucs in area contest

The Oak Mountain High School girls’ basketball team fell to Hoover 79-16 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 17.

Christian McGowan led the Eagles (14-7 overall, 1-2 in Class 6A, Area 10) with five points.

BOYS

The Oak Mountain High School boys’ basketball team fell to Hoover 55-15 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 17.

Justin Whisenant led the Eagles with six points.
