The Westminster School at Oak Mountain edged Shades Mountain Christian 50-44 in high school basketball action Jan. 23.

Jeffrey Stanford led the Knights (8-10) with a game-high 26 points in the victory. Stanford also grabbed five rebounds in the win.

Jacob Welch and Jake Doggett added eight points each. Doggett grabbed a team-high eight rebounds in the victory.
