The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team edged Oak Mountain 30-27 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 24.

Kat Cingoranelli led the Warriors (13-10 overall, 3-2 in Class 6A, Area 10) with a game-high 12 points in the victory.

KaDeisha Stowes added seven points and a team-high 12 rebounds in the win.

Hannah Griffin and Madison Pierce led Oak Mountain (15-8 overall, 2-4 in Class 6A, Area 10) with seven points each.

BOYS

The Thompson High School boys’ basketball team defeated Oak Mountain 57-29 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 24.

Caleb Johnson led the Warriors (17-7 overall, 3-2 in Class 6A, Area 10) with 11 points in the victory.

Jaylon Jones added 10 points in the win.

Justin Whisenant led Oak Mountain (3-17 overall, 0-4 in Class 6A, Area 10) with a game-high 12 points.
