The Chelsea High School girls’ basketball team defeated Talladega 59-48 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A, Area 7 contest Jan. 27.

Amanda Mock led the Hornets (10-13 overall, 3-4 in Class 5A, Area 7) with a game-high 20 points in the victory. Mock also grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Allie Luster added 12 points. Perri Lambert chipped in 11 points and a team-high seven steals in the win.
