The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team edged rival Pelham 50-48 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest Jan. 27.

Kat Cingoranelli and KaDeisha Stowes led the Warriors (14-10 overall, 4-2 in Class 6A, Area 10) with 12 points each in the victory. Stowes, who finished with five steals, also grabbed a team-high 13 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Taylor Underwood added 11 points in the win.

Sydney Days led Pelham (14-8 overall, 0-6 in Class 6A, Area 10) with a game-high 15 points.
