Genie Mae Lovelady Lucas, age 66, of Maplesville passed away on Friday, Jan. 27, 2012 in Montevallo. She was preceded in death by her son, Fred Lucas, and a brother, Herman Calvin Lovelady. Genie is survived by her husband, Leslie Lucas; sons, Thomas Earl Lucas (Janice), Roy David Lucas (Mandy) and Jerry Leslie Lucas (Donna); sisters, Barbara Ann Lovelady and Ada Lou Wallace (Jack); numerous grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be two hour prior to her service on Monday, Jan. 30, 2012 at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel. Her funeral service will be at 2 p.m. in the Rockco Funeral Home Chapel with Scott Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery in Montevallo.
