On Jan. 30, Jo Ann Pierce Mills Green went to be with our Lord. She passed away quietly at her home in Chula Vista surrounded by loved ones. She was a long-time resident of Pell City and a member of the First Baptist Church of Pell City.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Green (Dick), her parents, Jim and Loyce Pierce, and her son, Ronnie. She is survived by her children, Carol Butler (Jeff), Pam Seale (Murphy), Michael Mills (Betty), Kathy Mills and Ricky Green; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Pell City with interment in Cook Springs Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb. 1 from 5:30-9 p.m. at Kilgroe Funeral Home.
