The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office from Jan. 19-26:

 

Jan. 19

-Domestic violence, intimidating a witness from the 100 block of Southern Lane, Helena (Residence/Home)

-Stalking from Highway 270, Maylene (Residence/Home).

-Burglary from the 1300 block of Brook Highland Drive, Birmingham (Residence/Home) Damaged was one door frame valued at $100.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 4800 block of Valleydale Road (Parking lot/Garage) Stolen was one brown Cole Haan purse valued at $100, a set of keys and various credit cards.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 1700 block of Morning Sun Circle, Birmingham (Parking lot/Garage) Stolen was one Pheonix Arms .25 caliber pistol valued at $125.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 1000 block of Morning Sun Circle (Parking lot/Garage) Stolen was one laptop computer valued at $500, one bag of change valued at $50 and one Nikon Coolpix digital camera valued at $150.

-Civil dispute from the 200 block of Birmingham Street, Wilton (Commercial) Recovered were two locks on water meters.

 

Jan. 20

-Domestic violence by strangulation  from the 100 block of Weeping Circle, Wilsonville (Residence/Home)

-Driving under the influence, speeding, unlawful possession of controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from Highway 280 and Cahaba Park Circle, Birmingham (Highway/Street) Recovered was 0.5 grams of marijuana, 0.2 grams of amphetamine pill and one blue glass marijuana pipe.

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from the 16000 block of U.S. Highway 280, Chelsea (Parking lot/Garage) Recovered was 3/10 gram of heroin, one syringe, one rolled rubberband and one spoon.

-Fraudulent use of a debit/credit card from the 100 block of Meadow Drive, Birmingham (Commercial) Stolen was one legacy community debit card valued at $109.99.

-Civil dispute from the 1200 block of Craig’s List and Weatherby Cove, Birmingham (Residence/Home) Stolen was $60 in U.S. currency.

-Theft of property from the 6200 block of Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham (School/College) Stolen and recovered was one Sony handycam valued at $300, one blue backpack with books valued at $50.

 

Jan. 21

-Theft of property from the 1100 block of Highway 89, Montevallo (Residence/Home) Stolen was one Beretta pistol 22 valued at $200.

-Criminal mischief from the 7900 block of Highway 51, Westover (Residence/Home) Damaged was one deadbolt lock and one door knob.

-Harassment from the 10000 block of Highway 280, Chelsea (Supermarket).

 

Jan. 22

-Driving under the influence from Highway 145 at Highway 28, Columbiana (Highway/Street.

-Property damage from County Road 11, Chelsea (Highway/Street) Damaged was headlamp, front fender, grill assembly and push bumper  for 2009 Dodge Charger.

 

Jan. 23

-Public intoxication from Highway 119 at Caldwell Mill Road, Birmingham (Highway/Street).

-Domestic violence, harassing communications from the 500 block of Hetherwood Drive, Birmingham (Residence/Home).

-Theft of property II from the 500 block of Huntwood Road, Shelby (Residence/Home) Stolen were 97 Lortab 10’s valued at $80.

-Possession of child pornography with intent to disseminate obscene matter from the 2200 block of Highway 31, Calera (Residence/Home)

-Burglary from the 1600 block of Shelby Springs Road, Columbiana (Residence/Home) Stolen were two Remington 22 pistols valued at $200, two bolt action 22 rifles valued at $200, two single shot shotguns valued at $300, two 22 Ruger pistols valued at $700 two 22 Mags valued at $430 and one gold Herringbone necklace and mason rings valued at $3,300.

-Burglary from the 4100 block of Chesapeake, Birmingham (Residence/Home) Damaged was the carpet throughout apartment.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 7100 block of White Tail Drive (Parking lot/Garage) Stolen was one Regions checkbook, house keys and keys to a Caprice Classic.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 2600 block of Springfield Loop East, Birmingham (Parking lot/Garage) Stolen was one mp3 player valued at $50 and one Ruger 9mm pistol valued at $300.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 1500 block of Springfield Loop East (Parking lot/Garage).

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle from the 5000 block of Huntcliff Road, Birmingham (Residence/Home) Stolen was one taser valued at $70, assorted cloths valued at $40 and one iPod valued at $300.

-Miscellaneous information from Chelsea Middle School, Chelsea (School/College).

-Miscellaneous information from 100 block of Oak Lake Drive, Shelby (Residence/Home).

-Miscellaneous civil dispute from the 800 block of Turtle Lake Drive, Birmingham (Residence/Home).

-Driving under the influence, improper lane usage, driving while suspended and failure to display insurance from Highway 280 and Greenhill Parkway, Birmingham (Highway/Street)

-Domestic violence, harassment from the 4000 block of Highway 22, Montevallo (Residence/Home).

 

Jan. 24

-Theft of property from the 1000 block of Salser Lane, Columbiana (Residence/Home) Stolen was one 14 carat gold ring and one 14 carat gold ring with marquis cut diamond valued at $750.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and criminal trespassing from the 4500 block of Old Highway 280, Sterrett (Storage facility).

-Harassing communications from the 5600 block of Cahaba Valley Road (School/College).

 

Jan. 25

-Civil dispute from the 700 block of Turtle Lake Drive (Residence/Home).

-Abandoned vehicle from 280 West at Corporate Parkway, Birmingham (Highway/Street).

-Theft of property from the 5400 block of Caldwell Mill Road (School/ College) Stolen were one pair of Nike Hyperdunk Shoes valued at $120, one basketball jersey valued at $20, one pair of basketball shorts valued at $20 and one iPod touch charger valued at $20.

-Violation of protection order from the 1000 block of Balmoral Drive Room 108, Alabaster (Hotel/Motel).

-Miscellaneous information from the 1000 block of Balmoral Drive, Alabaster (Hotel/Motel).

-Allowing dog to roam at large from the 2000 block of Highway 7, Wilsonville (Residence/Home).

-Forgery and theft of property from the 600 block of Highway 260, Maylene (Residence/Home) Stolen were 6 checks and unknown silver coins valued at $250.

-Missing person from  the 8000 block of Highway 17, Maylene (Residence/Home).

-Domestic violence, harassing commnications from the 2000 block of County Road 57, Vincent (Residnce/Home).

-Domestic violence, harassing communications from the 100 block of Southern Lane, Helena (Residence/Home).

-Public intoxication from the 600 block of Meadow Drive, Birmingham (Parking lot/Garage).

-Harassment from the 2600 block of Springfield Loop West, Birmingham (Parking lot/Garage).

 

Jan. 26

-Promote prison contraband from the kitchen area of the Shelby County Jail (Government/Public building) Recovered was one smokeless tobacco in the finger of a latex glove and five homemade dip pouches containing smokeless tobacco.

-Immigration law from County Roads 42 and 47, Shelby (Highway/Street).

-Criminal mischief from the 10000 block of Kenley Way, Birmingham (Residence/Home) Damaged was one rear quarter panel and bumper valued at $1,000.

-Domestic investigation from the 10000 block of Kenley Way, Birmingham (Residence/Home)

-Property damage (non-criminal) from the 200 block of Highway 332, Pelham (Residence/Home).

-Domestic violence III from the 100 block of Quail Run Circle, Wilsonville (Residence/Home).

-Leaving the scene of accident from Highway 71 intersection of Clear Springs Way, Shelby (Highway/Street).

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Chelsea Corners Way, Chelsea (Supermarket) Stolen was one embroidered sweatshirt and one embroidered pull-over valued at $42.

-Permitting dog to roam at large from the 600 block of Mountain View Drive, Wilsonville (Residence/Home).

-Theft I from the 4200 block of Chesapeake, Birmingham (Residence/Home) Stolen and recovered was $20 in U.S. currency.

-Death investigation from the 400 block of Highway 22, Montevallo (Residence/Home).

-Identity theft from the 7000 block of Highway 22, Montevallo (Residence/Home).

-Domestic violence, harassment from the 10000 block of County Road 42, Shelby (Residence/Home).

-Theft of property and Burglary from the 2800 block of Highway 17, Montevallo (Residence/Home) Stolen was one Mossberg 20 gauge valued at $170, one Mossberg 410 valued at $170 and one additional slug barrel for the 20 gauge valued at $150.

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from the 16000 block of Highway 280, Chelsea (Drug Store) Recovered was one heroin paraphernalia kit containing two spoons, one tourniquet and 11 needles.

-Possession of child pornography from Chelsea High School, Chelsea (School/College)

-Domestic violence, harassment from the 7000 block from Stonecrest Drive, Birmingham (Residence/Home).

-Domestic investigation from the 1500 block of Joe White Road, Shelby (Residence/Home).

-Harassment from the 100 block of Evergreen Road, Shelby (Residence/Home).

-Violating protection from abuse order from the 10000 block of County Road 42, Shelby (Residence/Home).

-Abandoned vehicle from Vann Drive at Cahaba Valley Road, Birmingham (Highway/Street).

-Possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia from Highway 145 at 311, Shelby (Highway/Street) Recovered was one Xanex, one blue metal tube containing marijuana residue and three used syringes.

-Public intoxicatoin from the 5400 block of Highway 280, Birmingham (Service/Gas station)
