The Chelsea High School boys’ basketball team edged Bibb County 60-58 in high school basketball action Feb. 2.

Jake Ganus led the Hornets (14-14) with a game-high 22 points in the victory. Ganus also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out a team-high five assists.

D.D. Washington added 21 points and a team-high nine rebounds in the win.

GIRLS

The Chelsea High School girls’ basketball team defeated Bibb County 48-42 in high school basketball action Feb. 2.

Amanda Mock led the Hornets (11-13) with a game-high 17 points in the victory. Mock also grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Perri Lambert added 11 points, seven rebounds and a team-high six steals in the win.
