Connie and Sid Wheeler are pleased to announce the engagement of their son, Samuel Wheeler, to Samantha Essick.

Samantha is the daughter of Michelle Franks and Gale Essick. She is originally from Atwater, Ohio and graduated from Auburn University in 2011 with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. She is currently attending the Belmont University School of Pharmacy in Nashville, Tennessee.

Samuel graduated from Shelby County High School in 2005 and received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University in 2010. He is currently finishing is Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering and plans to graduate in May of 2012.

The couple is planning a June 2013 wedding.
