The Spain Park High School boys’ basketball team defeated rival Oak Mountain 36-26 in high school basketball action Feb. 3.

Sean Taylor led the Jaguars (20-9) with a game-high 12 points in the victory. Taylor also grabbed two rebounds and finished with four steals.

Robby Prater added nine points and four steals in the win. Rembert Martin chipped in eight points and two rebounds.

Blake Dudchock contributed six points and a team-high seven rebounds. Frankie Mareno finished with one point, one assist and one steal in the win.

Jonathon Toups grabbed two rebounds, while Eric Washington, John Elliot and Jonathon Troulias finished with one board each.

Justin Whisenant led Oak Mountain (3-21) with 10 points. Whisenant also grabbed a team-high five rebounds.

Graham McArthur added five points and three rebounds. Chris Marino chipped in three points, one rebound and one steal.

Bowen Gurkin, Courtney Evans, Jordan Pierce and Will Moro contributed two points each.

Scott Hester grabbed two rebounds.
