The Southern Basketball Academy, a summer basketball organization based in Alabaster, will host its 2012 Barbecue Jamboree on March 4 from 2-8 p.m. at Thompson High School, said event organizer and Kingwood Christian School boys’ basketball coach Danny Davis.

The jamboree will feature the second annual SBA All-Star game, which will include the SBA staff against a team made up of past collegiate stars that is expected to include former Alabama standouts Rod Grizzard and Mikhail Torrance.

The jamboree will also include an introduction of the SBA’s travel team players, a 3 The Hard Way Shoot-A-Thon, as well as prizes and activities and picture day.
