Leven Handy Ellis II, age 73, a resident of Columbiana, died on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012. Funeral services will be 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012 at Columbiana United Methodist Church with Rev. Mark Lawley and Lori Carden officiating.Burial will follow at Ellis Family Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, from 2-3 p.m. at the church.

Mr. Ellis is preceded in death by his son, Roger Frank James Ellis. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Self Ellis; children, Patricia Margarette Ellis, Leven Handy Ellis, III, Leven Handy Ellis, IV, Heather Marie Ellis, Skylar Margarette Ellis; beloved step-son, Patrick Downing; brother, Frank C. “Butch” Ellis Jr.; sister, Linda Ellis Blanton; grandchildren, Teddy Robert Self, Taylor Ellis Daniel, Justin Weber, Brittany Weber, Madelyn Weber, Anaka Grace Sullivan, Molly Ellis, Sydney Ellis and numerous other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
