Rhonda Carroll Lewis, age 76, of Chelsea passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2010. She was born on Feb. 2, 1936 to the late Luther Carroll and Rosie Carroll in Chilton County. She attended Pelham Church of God.

She is survived by her lifetime friend, Johnny Hudgins; daughters, Charlotte Dobbs (Jimmy) and Carol Grier (Bill); sons, Gary McSherdon (Pat); Randy McSherdon (Lynn), Freddie McSherdon (Felisa) and Damon Lewis (Allyson); sisters, Wilda Jackson, Betty Jean Kreh (Bill), Olene Rich (Lonnie) and Joyce Ann Hudgins; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family received friends for visitation on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012 at Vandiver Church of God (1347 Highway 43, Vandiver) from 1-2 p.m. Funeral service followed at the church at 2 p.m. Ministers Brother David Houston and Brother Mitch Underwood officiated.
