The Thompson High School girls’ basketball team fell to host Mountain Brook 51-42 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A sub-region contest Feb. 16.

KaDeisha Stowes led the Warriors (16-12) with 15 points in the sub-region loss. Stowes also grabbed a team-high 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double.

Janese Richardson added nine points. Taylor Underwood chipped in seven points.

Katie Guiser finished with five points. Kat Cingoranelli contributed four points. Sophie Cingoranelli added two points.
