Brenda F. Carroll, age 64, a resident of Shelby, died on Monday, Feb. 20, 2012. Funeral services will be 7 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Wesley Criswell officiating. Burial will be at Bay Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, from 5-7 p.m. at Bolton Funeral Home.

Mrs. Carroll is preceded in death by her grandson, Jamie Goodwin. She is survived by her husband, James Carroll; sons, Gene Goodwin (Aurelia) and Glenn Goodwin (Tonya); grandchildren, John, Tom and Andrea; great-granddaughter, Anna Lynn Rice; brother, Larry Massey; sister, Linda Bates; and other family and friends.
