Feb. 6

-Identity theft from Beijing, China (government, public building).

-Criminal mischief from the 200 block of Industrial Road (other, unknown). Damaged was a coin-operated vacuum in the amount of $500.

-Theft of property from the 235 block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (specialty store). Stolen and recovered was a 6-inch 18 TPI recip blade valued at $29.64.

-Information only from Thompson Intermediate School.

-Theft of gasoline from the 500 block of Colonial Promenade Parkway (service, gas station). Stolen was $41.61 in gasoline.

-Domestic violence investigation and domestic violence – harassment from the 1500 block of Mission Hills Road (residence, home).

-Damage to property from County Road 95 at Hillspun Road (highway, street). Damaged was a front bumper in the amount of $1,000.

-Excessive noise from Highway 31 near Shelby Baptist Medical Center (highway, street).

-Criminal trespassing from the 70 block of Jimmy Gould Drive (specialty store).

 

Feb. 7

-Violation of leash law – dog running at large from the 1000 block of First Avenue West (residence, home).

-Domestic violence investigation and domestic violence – harassment from the 100 block of 11th Avenue Southeast (residence, home).

-Identity theft from the Internet (residence, home).

-Unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from Fifth Avenue Southeast (residence, home). Confiscated were marijuana and a marijuana pipe.

-Damage to property from the 100 block of Warrior Drive (parking lot, garage). Damaged was a rear bumper in the amount of $500.

-Animal complaint from the 100 block of Gardenside Drive (residence, home).

-Animal complaint from the 100 block of Falling Waters Lane (residence, home).

-Death from the 700 block of First Avenue West (residence, home).

 

Feb. 8

-Damage to property from the 7300 block of Highway 17 (highway, street). Damaged was a 2007 Volkswagen Beetle in the amount of $1,000.

-Criminal mischief from the 200 block of Red Bay Drive (residence, home). Damaged was a mailbox in the amount of $50.

-Information from the 1300 block of Navajo Trail (residence, home).

-Identity theft from an unknown location (residence, home).

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of a forged instrument from the 400 block of First Street Southwest (commercial). Confiscated were four counterfeit $100 bills and 11 counterfeit $50 bills.

-Information only from the 100 block of Warrior Drive (residence, home).

-Information only from the 100 block of Eighth Street Northwest (residence, home). Stolen were cabinets valued at $2,500, a window air conditioner valued at $500, two corner hutches valued at $500 and 61 miscellaneous tools valued at $5,000.

-Theft of property from address unlisted (residence, home). Stolen was a Compac laptop computer valued at $1,500.

-Harassment from the 100 block of Warrior Drive (school, college).

-Harassment from 1000 Railroad St. (school, college).

 

Feb. 9

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Park Forest Terrace (residence, home). Stolen were a stainless steel Rossi .357-magnum revolver with a 4-inch barrel valued at $500, a blue Smith and Wesson airweight .38-special revolver with a shaved hammer valued at $650, a stainless steel American Arms .22-magnum revolver valued at $250, a Winchester semi-automatic 12-gauge shotgun valued at $150, $15,000 in U.S. currency, $1,000 in U.S. currency and a man’s gold ring with a black onyx stone with diamond chip in center valued at $500.

-Lost property from the 1000 block of First Street North (other, unknown). Reported missing was a Wells Fargo bank card and an Olshan Foundation Visa credit card.

-Harassment from the 1300 block of Eighth Street Southwest (highway, street).

-Unlawful possession of prescription medication from Highway 31 at the Instructional Service Center (highway, street). Confiscated were hydrocodone pills.

-Criminal possession of a forged instrument from Michael’s Pawn Shop (commercial) Forged was one personal check in the amount of $400.

-Theft of property from the Piggly Wiggly grocery store (supermarket) Stolen was one Carmex lip balm valued at $1.49.

-Burglary and theft of property from the 500 block of Amos Mitchell Road (residence/home) Stolen were one Stihl chainsaw valued at $700, one generator valued at $300, one safe valued at $700 and one hand truck valued at $100.

-Property damage from 22266 Highway 25 Columbiana Clinic (other/unknown).

-Theft of property from Piggly Wiggly (supermarket) Stolen were one deli plate valued at $6.99 and one Pepcid AC valued at $20.39.

-Disorderly person and animal bite from Walthall Swamp Road, disorderly person taken into custody on warrants, back up was bitten by defendants dog during arrest.

-Unlawful possession of marijuana from Penhale Park (field, woods). Confiscated was less than half a gram of marijuana in a clear plastic bag valued at $5.

-Criminal mischief from the 300 block of River Oaks Circle. Damaged was a porch screen door in the amount of $50.

-Information only on possible narcotic from Overland Road and Highway 119 (highway/street). Recovered was green leafy substance in packaged marked Phat Herb 3g Skunky blueberry flavor valued at $30.

-Possession of drug paraphernalia from Highway 25 and Hicks Street (service/gas station). Recovered was an orange multicolored glass pipe valued at $30.

 

Feb. 13

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and criminal mischief III from the 1200 block of Island Street (residence/home). Damaged was a driver’s side door window in the amount of $250. Stolen was the title to victim’s vehicle valued at $0.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and criminal mischief III from the 1000 block of Main Street (residence/home). Damaged was a left front door glass in the amount of $150.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property III from the 1000 block of Main Street (parking lot/garage). Damaged was the driver’s side window of a 2002 Honda Accord in the amount of $200. Stolen was a bottle of Lucky perfume valued at $30.

-Accidental damage to private property from the 900 block of Main Street (parking lot/garage).

-Criminal mischief III and unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle (no theft or damage) from the 100 block of Sky View Drive (residence/home). Damaged was the left front door glass in the amount of $150.

Feb. 6

-Miscellaneous information from the Quality Inn at 110 Cahaba Valley Parkway (hotel, motel).

-Property damage from the 200 block of Eagle Cove Lane (residence, home). Damaged were a wooden front door in the amount of $500 and a living room wall in the amount of $500.

-Theft of property from the 3100 block of Lee Street (specialty store). Stolen were a five-gallon tint sprayer valued at $200, a power drill valued at $100, an industrial roll of automotive tint film valued at $250 and three rolls of automotive carpet valued at $180.

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 100 block of Eagle Cove Drive (other, unknown). Stolen were $67 in bank funds.

-Welfare check and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia from the 100 block of Highway 361 (residence, home). Recovered were a small plastic bag containing approximately 10 grams of marijuana, a small plastic bag containing approximately 1 gram of heroin valued at $30, approximately 20 used syringes and spoons and approximately four marijuana smoking devices.

-Theft of property from 2059 Little Mountain Circle (commercial). Stolen were a Robin air vacuum pump valued at $200, a blue Kobalt IHP two-gallon air compressor valued at $100, a blue magnum paint sprayer valued at $299 and a silver kinetic water ram gun inside an orange rectangular container valued at $250.

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from 2181 Pelham Parkway (parking lot, garage).

 

Feb. 7

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the Alabaster Shell station (service, gas station).

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia (highway, street). Recovered were a prescription pill bottle containing approximately one-tenth of a gram of suspected heroin valued at $20, four used hypodermic needles valued at $2 and a spoon valued at $2.

-Theft of property from the 200 block of Fawns Way (other, unknown). Stolen was a Moultrie Game Spy outdoor camera valued at $60.

-Violation of municipal ordinance – zoning off street parking from the area across from 184 Chandalar Place (field, woods).

-Miscellaneous information from the 2000 block of Chandalar Court (other, unknown). Stolen was $212 in U.S. currency.
