Debbie Early of Shelby, retiree of Bellsouth (AT&T), and graduate of Homewood High School, passed away on Feb. 15, 2012, at the age of 54. Mrs. Early was a loving wife, mother, Nana and friend. Her unconditional love, strength and kindness will be deeply missed.

She was preceded in death by grandparents James W. and Suzanne Keenum, and Evelyn and Oliver F. Kitchen. Survivors include her husband of 36 years, David E. Early; a daughter, Ashley Partridge (Joey); a son, David E. Early Jr; mother, Shirley Marie Kitchen; father, John Kitchen (JoAnn); brother, John R. Kitchen (Judy); sister, Barbara S. Corum; three grandchildren, River M. Partridge, Lidia L. Early and Zander K. Partridge; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. The family received friends Thursday, Feb. 16, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. at Southern Heritage with funeral service Friday, Feb. 17, 2012 at 2 p.m.
