The Briarwood Christian School softball team fell to McAdory 10-1 in high school softball action Feb. 23.

Morgan Reed led the Lions (0-2) at the plate after finishing 2-for-3 with a triple. Reed also scored a run.

Rachel Walz finished 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in a run.

Reed took the loss in the circle after giving up five runs, including three earned runs, on five hits with three strikeouts and a walk in two innings.

Linley Splawn allowed five runs, including four earned runs, on six hits with three strikeouts and a walk in four innings in relief.
