The Kingwood Christian School baseball team fell to Springwood 7-5 in high school baseball action Feb. 23.

Aron Walters led the Lions (0-1) as he finished 1-for-2 at the plate and drove in two runs. Trent Sullivan was walked three times in the game and scored two runs.

Gavin Sumrall started on the mound and gave up five runs, including three earned runs, on three hits with seven strikeouts and four walks.

Tyler Harrell took the loss after giving up two earned runs on two hits with three strikeouts and a walk in two innings in relief.
