Shirley Davis, age 73, a resident of Wilsonville, died on Thursday, Feb. 23, 2012. Graveside services were 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 26, 2012 at Bolton Funeral Home with Rev. Roger Chambers officiating. Burial followed at Columbiana City Cemetery. Visitation was one hour prior to the service at Bolton Funeral Home. A special thank you to the nurses and staff at the UAB Burn Unit.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her children, Wanda Collum (Frank Bearden) and Angel Davis; grandson, Wesley Branch; sister, Sue Murphree; brother, Sonny Murphree; niece, Rebecca Abernathy; sisters-in-law, Ruth Herrington (Oran) and Ruby Holcombe (James); lifelong friend, Beverly McKenna; good friends, Leta Goolsby and John Miller; and numerous other family and friends.
