Brandey Kristen Mount, age 38, a resident of Blountsville, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012. Celebration of Life services were noon, Thursday, March 1, 2012 at Union United Methodist Church in Wilsonville. Following the service was a spiritual graveside service along with a gathering of friends and family for food. The family hopes everyone stayed and enjoyed food and shared memories and celebrated the life of Brandey.

Brandey loved crossword puzzles, horses, the outdoors and running free. Her world was complicated and at times very hard to understand, but when you truly had Brandey, you had one of the most loving people who would do anything for you. Her lifestyle at times made this hard for people to understand. She faced some of the hardest times you can imagine and many times her eyes fought back the tears. She is a free and gentle flower growing wild. She is our wildflower. Brandey, you are gone but not forgotten. We love you.

Mrs. Mount is proceeded in death by her grandparents, Verdia Turner, along with Lester and Louise Brasher. Mrs. Mount is survived by her husband, William Donnell Mount II; children, Casey Shane Lowery (Casey’s wife, Dana); Carl David Connell; mother, Cathy Carter; father, Rickey Turner; grandfather, Claude Turner; sister, Shaney Dunn (Chris) and their boys, Cody and Blake; stepfathers, Nicholas R. Carter and Frank Russo; and stepmother, Donna Turner, along with numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles and so many family and friends. Brandey never met a stranger.
