The Chelsea High School softball team defeated Clay-Chalkville 12-2 in high school softball action Feb. 28.

Jordan Gray led the Hornets (5-1) at the plate as she went 3-for-3 with a homer in the victory. Gray drove in six runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Kacie Craft finished 3-for-4 at the plate and scored two runs. Erin Jones went 1-for-2 and scored three runs.

Craft earned the win in the circle after giving up two unearned runs on three hits with six strikeouts and a walk in a complete game.
