The Oak Mountain High School girls’ tennis team fell to Homewood 5-4 in high school tennis action March 1.

The Eagles won two singles’ matches and two doubles’ matches against Homewood.

Laurel Reeves of Oak Mountain defeated Sarah Fields of Homewood 8-4 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Eunyoung Jo of Oak Mountain defeated Carrie Grace Creed of Homewood 8-6 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Jessica Amaro and Samantha Frederick of Oak Mountain defeated Spade and Fields 8-3 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Reeves and Jo defeated Creed and Sierra Booker of Homewood in the No. 3 doubles’ match.

Mary Catherine Touliatos of Oak Mountain fell to Megan Spade of Homewood 8-4 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Amaro fell to Sena Suswam of Homewood 8-0 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Frederick fell to Maggie Williams of Homewood 8-1 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Anna Manning of Oak Mountain fell to Beverly Vappie of Homewood 8-6 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Touliatos and Manning fell to Williams and Vappie 8-2 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.
