Panthers shut out Montgomery Catholic in soccer match

The Pelham High School boys’ soccer team shut out Montgomery Catholic 8-0 in high school soccer action Feb. 29.

Andres Melendez led the Panthers (6-3) with three goals in the victory.

Tucker Thomas added two goals. Ryan Tapley, Diego Lopez and Cesar Canales scored one goal each in the win.

Miguel Quijada led Pelham with two assists. Pelham goalkeeper Moises Roman recorded his fifth shutout of the season.
