The Calera High School softball team swept Tarrant in a doubleheader in high school softball action March 1.

The Eagles defeated Tarrant 15-2 in the opener.

Katie Eiland led Calera at the plate with three hits. Eiland also drove in two runs in the win.

Anna Seabury and Somer Roberson finished with two hits and drove in two runs each.

Eiland earned the win after recording five strikeouts in a five-inning complete game.

Calera topped Tarrant 15-0 in the nightcap.

Clark led the Eagles at the plate with two hits. Clark also drove in three runs in the victory.

Skyler Laird finished with one hit and drove in one run. Roberson drove in two runs.

Roberson also earned the win in the circle after striking out seven batters in a complete game.
