Kingwood Christian School senior Madeline Lee pitched a five-inning no-hitter and belted a walk-off homer to lift the Lions to a 1-0 win over Chambers Academy in their season-opening game March 1 at the Prattville Christian tournament.

Lee, a Wallace State Community College signee, finished with nine strikeouts and gave up only one walk in the no-hitter.

Caroline Clark added a double in the victory.

Kingwood Christian fell to Cornerstone Christian 2-1 in its second game of the tournament.

Kendall Jonseof led the Lions with a double.

Kaylyn Ingram took the loss after giving up six hits with five strikeouts and a walk in a complete game.
