The Kingwood Christian School baseball team fell to Abbeville Christian 9-4 in the Prattville Christian tournament March 2.

Gavin Sumrall led the Lions as he went 2-for-3 at the plate and scored two runs.

Andrew Whitfield went 2-for-2 and drove in a run.

Trent Sullivan started on the mound and gave up one unearned run with one strikeout in one inning.

Sumrall allowed eight unearned runs on four hits with a walk in 1 2/3 innings in relief. Will Holt gave up one hit without allowing a run in the final 1 1/3 innings.
