Eagles win two games in tournament

The Oak Mountain High School softball team won two games in the Spain Park softball tournament March 3.

The Eagles defeated Corner 10-6.

Caroline Seitz led Oak Mountain at the plate as she went 3-for-3 with a walk-off grand slam in the victory. Seitz, who also finishd with a double, drove in six runs and scored one run in the win.

Leah Reeve earned the win in relief of Katherine Kimble.

Oak Mountain defeated Chelsea 4-3.

Reeve, who carried a perfect game into the sixth inning and a no-hitter into the seventh inning, started in the circle and earned the complete-game victory.

Oak Mountain fell to Dothan 8-1. Dothan earned the tie-breaker in pool play to advance to the championship round of the tournament.
