The Spain Park High School baseball team swept a doubleheader with Pell City in high school baseball action March 3.

The Jaguars defeated Pell City 4-0 in the opener.

Grant Veteto led the Jaguars at the plate as he homered in the victory.

Hunter Hall, Mikey White and Josh Close also had one hit each in the win.

Hall earned the win on the mound after giving up just three hits with six strikeouts and two walks in a complete-game victory.

Spain Park defeated Pell City 8-6 in the nightcap.

Close led the Jaguars at the plate as he went 2-for-4 and scored two runs.

Paul Angel went 2-for-2 at the plate. Veteto finished 1-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs.

Hall went 1-for-4 at the plate.

Trey Hawker earned the win after giving up five hits with three strikeouts and a walk in 2 1/3 innings in relief.
