The Oak Mountain High School baseball team defeated Pell City 8-1 in high school baseball action March 6.

Barrett Gossett led the Eagles (8-3) as he went 2-for-4 at the plate. Gossett drove in two runs and scored one run in the victory.

Richard Greene finished 2-for-3 at the plate and scored a run. David Dahl went 1-for-3 at the plate and scored two runs. Sam Knotts finished 1-for-2 at the plate and scored one run.

Jacob Bowman earned the win on the mound after giving up just five hits with two walks in four innings.

Cameron Bice earned the save after giving up one run on one hit with two strikeouts and a walk in three innings in relief.
