The Spain Park High School softball team defeated Wetumpka 10-2 in high school softball action March 5.

Madi Gipson led the Jaguars at the plate as she went 2-for-3 with a triple. Gipson drove in three runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Erin Hornsby, who drove in one run and scored two runs, finished 2-for-3 at the plate. Caroline Holmes, who drove in a run and scored a run, went 2-for-4 at the plate.

Haleigh Sisson earned the win in the circle after giving up two earned runs on six hits with nine strikeouts and five walks in a complete-game victory.
