The Spain Park High School boys’ tennis team defeated Oak Mountain 8-1 in high school tennis action March 5.

The Jaguars won five of the six singles’ matches and all three doubles’ matches against Oak Mountain.

Jack Nicholas of Spain Park defeated Preston Touliatos of Oak Mountain 10-5 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Will Hartsock of Spain Park defeated Kyle Ehlers of Oak Mountain 11-9 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Whalen Merrill of Spain Park defeated Kody Ehlers of Oak Mountain 10-3 in the No. 4 singles’ match. Baylor Cocke of Spain Park defeated Brian Deason of Oak Mountain 10-4 in the No. 5 singles’ match.

Sam Lorino of Spain Park defeated Jay Holton of Oak Mountain 10-3 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Nicholas and Hartsock defeated Touliatos and Hunter Dodson of Oak Mountain 10-4 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Merrill and Brit Sovic of Spain Park defeated Kody Ehlers and Kyle Ehlers 10-6 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Cocke and Lorino defeated Holton and Deason 10-4 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.

Dodson picked up the Eagles’ lone victory with his 11-9 win over Sovic in the No. 3 singles’ match.
