The Thompson High School softball team defeated Chelsea 3-1 in high school softball action March 5.

Ashleigh Short led the Warriors with a two-run homer in the victory.

Sarah Beth Holdbrooks added a double and drove in a run. Taylor Powell finished with a single.

Rachel Rigney earned the win in the circle after giving up just one run on three hits with eight strikeouts in a complete-game victory.

Joslyn Johnston led Chelsea with a single and scored a run. Allie Luster drove in a run for the Hornets.
