Mary H. Smith, 74, of Calera passed away March 5, 2012 at Shelby County Memorial Hospital. Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 10, 2012 with Rev. Maion Brasher officiating. Funeral service will be held at Pocahontas Church of God at 1 p.m. and visitation at the church from 10 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Pocahontas Cemetery, Carbon Hill.

She was survived by her husband, Carlos A. Smith; six children, Randy Neal (Natalie), Linda Ware (Harry), Jeff Neal (Joyce), Carlos Smith II, Freida Ann Smith and Rebecca Heart (Michael); grandchildren, Joshua Carter, Jessie Dawson and Madison Heart; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by parents Grady Horton and Addie Mae Horton and son, Danny Neal.
