The Chelsea High School baseball team defeated Talladega 12-1 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A, Area 7 contest March 16.

Keelan Gregg led the Hornets at the plate as he went 2-for-3 with a triple and drove in three runs.

Austin Dean finished 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in three runs. Matthew Graben went 2-for-3 at the plate. Nathan Roddy and Brody Holder added one hit each.

Tripp Hobbs picked up his third win of the season in his third complete game after giving up just one unearned run on three hits with five strikeouts and two pickoffs.
