The Coosa Valley Academy baseball team defeated Evangel Christian School 6-0 in high school baseball action March 19.

Michael Mims led the Rebels (12-3) at the plate with two hits, including a triple. Mims drove in one run in the victory.

Garrett McMillan, Myles Varner and Tyler Hickman added one hit each. Steven Cryer and Hunter Winslett drove in one run each.

Allen Logan earned the win on the mound after giving up just two hits with eight strikeouts in a complete game.
