March 6

-Property damaged from the 2200 block of Highway 52 East (service, gas station). Damaged was a 2012 Volkswagen Jetta.

-Attempted theft of property from American Family Care at 2970 Pelham Parkway (parking lot, garage).

-Harassment from the parking lot of comfort suites (parking lot, garage).

-Theft of property from 101 Midridge Lane (specialty store). Stolen was an iPhone 4 with a pink case.

-Damaged property from 2781 Pelham Parkway (bar). Damaged was a left fender and headlight.

-Sexual abuse of a child less than 12 years old from the 2000 block of Little Mountain Road (residence, home).

March 7

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the Pelham Police Department at 32 Philip Davis St. (government, public building).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from Highway 119 at Interstate 65 (highway, street).

-Death investigation from the 2500 block of Chandalar Lane (residence, home).

-Unlawful possession of marijuana from Highway 52 at Interstate 65 (highway, street). Confiscated were a glass jar containing suspected marijuana valued at $30 and a black digital scale valued at $20.

-Theft of property by deception from the 100 block of Silverleaf Drive (residence, home). Reported was a U.S. postal money order valued at $935.

March 8

-Theft of property – vehicle from the 3300 block of Highway 11 (parking lot, garage). Stolen was a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado valued at $17,000.

-Assault from the 2700 block of Welborn Street (commercial).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from Pelham Parkway at Publix (parking lot, garage).

-Unlawful possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana from the 300 block of Huntley Parkway (parking lot, garage). Confiscated were alprazolam pills valued at $10, an alprazolam tablet valued at $4, a metal container and grinder valued at $10, a glass pipe valued at $10 and approximately 2.5 grams of suspected marijuana packaged in aluminum foil valued at $20.

-Death investigation from the 100 block of Wisteria Drive (residence, home).

-Death investigation from Pelham Parkway (storage facility).

-Assault from 630 Cahaba Valley Road (convenience store).

March 9

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from 32 Philip Davis St. (government, public building).

-Harassing communications from the 1900 block of Highway 68 East (residence, home).

-Outside agency assist – law enforcement from the 1400 block of County Road 52 (parking lot, garage).

-Theft of property from Travel Lodge on Oak Mountain Circle (hotel, motel). Stolen was $200 in U.S. currency.

-Domestic violence – harassment from the 100 block of Clark Street (residence, home).

-Death investigation from the 3300 block of North Wildwood Drive (residence, home).

March 10

-Property damage from Interstate 65 near the 246 mile marker (highway, street). Stolen was a 2000 Chrysler Sebring.

-Civil dispute and outside agency assist – law enforcement from 410 Oak Mountain Circle (hotel, motel).

-Miscellaneous information – property damage from the 100 block of Hidden Creek Circle (residence, home). Damaged was a wooden door frame.

March 11

-Death investigation – hospice from Silverleaf Drive (residence, home).

-Theft of property from the 5600 block of County Road 11 (residence, home). Stolen were a Troy-Bilt backpack leaf blower valued at $400, a Stihl chainsaw valued at $700 and a Dewalt 12-inch compound miter saw valued at $450.

-Theft of property from Walmart at 2181 Pelham Parkway (specialty store). Stolen and recovered were a faux diamond ring valued at $9, a men’s watch valued at $24, a four-pack of ABS Zero brand drinks valued at $6, a can of computer keyboard cleaner valued at $5, a cell phone protective case valued at $35 and a short-sleeve button-down shirt valued at $13.

-Burglary from the 100 block of Hampton Lake Drive (residence, home). Stolen was an unknown amount of copper tubing and damaged was a doorknob latch and lock in the amount of $20.
