Buster Martin, age 87, of Wilsonville passed away Thursday, March 22, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was the son of the late Flim Lester and Myrtle Suell Martin and was raised in Fungo Hollow. He was also preceded in death by his grandson, Willim Ross Flores, and several brothers and sisters. He was retired from the United States Air Force serving in World War II. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Lyndal R. Leach Martin; daughters, Barbara Peeno (Del) of Sarasota, Fla., Beverly Flores (Eugene) of Panama City, Fla. and Connie Parrish (Jim) of Montevallo; grandchildren, TSgt. Joshua Parrish (Amanda), Jessica Parrish and Joseph Peeno; and great-grandchildren, Richard Eugene Flores, Elisabeth Autumn Parrish and Lacy Amanda Parrish.

A graveside service with honors will be at the Alabama National Cemetery at 2:45 p.m., Monday, March 26, 2012.
