The Spain Park High School girls’ tennis team defeated Gardendale 9-0 in high school tennis action March 29.

Olivia Cissell of Spain Park defeated Lauren Hall of Gardendale 8-0 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Lauren Schroeder of Spain Park defeated Emma Hill of Gardendale 8-0 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

Lulu Zhang of Spain Park defeated Katie Huell of Gardendale 8-2 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Madison Luther of Spain Park defeated Isabella Riggs 8-0 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Tierney Sovic of Spain Park defeated Sara James of Gardendale 8-4 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Kensley Yarbrough of Spain Park defeated Kelsey Mjnck of Gardendale 8-0 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Cissell and Schroeder defeated Hall and Hill 8-3 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Luther and Sovic defeated Huett and Riggs 8-1 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Zhang and Yarbrough defeated James and Beasley 8-0 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
