Indian Springs tops Westminster in tennis match

The Indian Springs School boys’ tennis team defeated Westminster School at Oak Mountain 7-2 in high school tennis action April 2.

Ben Goodman of Indian Springs defeated Mark McClure of Westminster 8-0 in the No. 1 singles’ match. Jacob Thigpen of Indian Springs defeated Will Robey of Westminster 8-2 in the No. 2 singles’ match.

John Canfield of Indian Springs defeated Scott McClure of Westminster 8-3 in the No. 3 singles’ match. Ethan White of Indian Springs defeated Bobby Skelton of Westminster 8-1 in the No. 4 singles’ match.

Wellford Moore of Westminster defeated Jack Dillard of Indian Springs 8-5 in the No. 5 singles’ match. Robert Mann of Westminster defeated M. Habash of Indian Springs 8-2 in the No. 6 singles’ match.

Thigpen and Canfield defeated Mark McClure and Scott McClure 8-2 in the No. 1 doubles’ match. Goodman and White defeated Robey and Skelton 8-1 in the No. 2 doubles’ match.

Dillard and Habash defeated Mann and Daniel Hughes of Westminster 8-6 in the No. 3 doubles’ match.
