The Thompson High School softball team defeated Mountain Brook 3-1 in high school softball action April 3.

Rachel Rigney led the Warriors offensively as she finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double. Rigney drove in two runs in the victory.

Jordan Swindle finished 1-for-3 at the plate with a double and scored one run. Ashleigh Short went 1-for-3 at the plate with a double.

Taylor Powell earned the win in the circle after giving up one earned run on two hits with four strikeouts and four walks in a complete-game victory.
