The Vincent High School softball team dropped a doubleheader with Fayetteville in high school softball action April 3.

The Yellow Jackets fell 8-2 in the opener.

Courtney Holston led Vincent offensively as she finished 2-for-4 at the plate and drove in two runs.

Holston took the loss in the circle after giving up eight runs, including five earned runs, on 10 hits with four strikeouts and two walks in a complete game.

Vincent fell to Fayetteville 14-11 in the nightcap.

Holston led the Yellow Jackets offensively as she finished 3-for-5 at the plate with a pair of doubles.

Courtney Barber took the loss after giving up nine runs, including one earned run, on seven hits with five walks in three innings.

Holston allowed five runs, including one earned run, on five hits with one walk in four innings.
