The Vincent High School baseball team defeated Victory Christian 6-2 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 2A, Area 10 contest April 3.

Zac Baucom led the Yellow Jackets offensively as he finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double. Baucom drove in two runs and scored three runs in the victory.

Chase Howard went 2-for-3 at the plate with a double. Quartez Walker finished 2-for-4 at the plate and scored two runs. Daniel Hawkins went 1-for-4 at the plate and scored one run.

D.J. Brasher earned the win on the mound after giving up two runs on seven hits with eight strikeouts and four walks in six innings.

Michael Gilham finished with one strikeout in one inning in relief.
