The Thompson High School softball team fell to Hoover 3-2 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 6A, Area 10 contest April 5.

Haley Crumpton led the Warriors offensively as she finished 1-for-1 at the plate. Crumpton drove in two runs.

Rachel Rigney took the loss in the circle after giving up three unearned runs on five hits with three strikeouts and one walk in a complete game.
