The Briarwood Christian School baseball team defeated Talladega 10-0 in an Alabama High School Athletic Association Class 5A, Area 7 contest April 6.

Daniel Robert led the Lions offensively as he finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a pair of homers. Robert drove in four runs and scored two runs in the victory.

Matthew Furuto finished 2-for-3 at the plate with a double and scored two runs. Tanner Cunningham, who drove in one run and scored two runs, went 2-for-2 at the plate.

Kevin McKelvey finished 1-for-1 at the plate and drove in two runs. Brayden Housel, who drove in one run and scored one run, went 1-for-1 at the plate.

Barnes Bankston earned the win on the mound after pitching a complete-game no-hitter with nine strikeouts.
