The following are uniform incident and offense reports from the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office:

 

March 19

-Domestic violence by strangulation/suffocation from the 3000 block of Buck Horn Cove, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Burglary from the 1500 block of Highway 70, Columbiana (convenience store) Damaged was one wooden and glass exterior door valued at $200, one iron burglary bar door with security lock valued at $250. Stolen was $200 in U.S. currency, one Dell computer modem valued at $1,000, one Sapphire II hard drive valued at $8,000 and one Verifone hard drive valued at $10,000.

-Theft of property from the 100 block of Liberty Drive, Montevallo (residence/home) Stolen was one pair of half carat diamond earrings valued at $1,000, one gold pendant valued at $100 and one gold wedding band valued at $200.

-Theft of property from the 700 block of Amanda Lane, Shelby (residence/home) Stolen was one Henry 22 long rifle of unknown value.

-Property found at 380 McDow Road, Columbiana (government/public building) Recovered was one road closed ahead sign.

 

March 20

-Burglary III from the 8000 block of Highway 42, Shelby (residence/home) Stolen was one HP Pavillion laptop and charging cables.

-Unlawful breaking and entering from the 100 block of Clairmont Road, Sterrett (other/unknown) Stolen was one Bauer .25 caliber semi auto valued at $300.

-Unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle and theft of property from the500 block of Caldwell Mill Circle, Birmingham (residence/home) Stolen was one Garmin GPS unit valued at $250 and one pair of prescription Maui Jim sunglass in a blue case valued at $150.

-Theft of services from Autowerks Das Auto, Alabaster (other/unknown) Damaged was one 1998 Dodge Dakota valued at $5,000.

-Identity theft from the 5000 block of Meadowbrook Road, Birmingham (residence/home).

-Fraudulent use of a credit card from the 5300 block of Harvest Ridge Lane, Birmingham (residence/home) Stolen was one debit card valued at $941.16.

-Identity theft from the 900 block of Stonecrest Drive (residence/home).

-Fraudulent use of a debit card from the 100 block of Meadowcroft Circle (residence/home) Stolen was a debit card valued at $427.45
